[11:33:53] spectei, I am running on 3.7.1. Installed it only a couple of months ago. Do you think I should upgrade? [11:34:35] some of the stuff with conll/UD is fairly recent [11:34:38] so it wouldn't hurt trying [11:34:43] OK [11:34:47] thanks [11:55:08] so I upgraded gf although I think I already had the latest version. same problem prevails. What would be the next step? [11:55:26] "option not interpreted: conll2latex" [11:55:42] where did you get that command from ? [12:00:25] from Aarne, it's for an assignment [12:01:40] hmm [12:01:48] jutta, are you using the github version of GF? [12:02:26] I don't think so... [12:03:35] I downloaded the package from the website around April, then upgraded it as you suggested, just now, via the "Installing the latest release from source" section on the website [12:04:02] "Installing from the latest developer source code [12:04:03] " [12:04:04] from this part? [12:04:07] i guess try that [12:04:35] OK, thanks! I'll try that [12:05:24] It doesn't recognize the darcs command [12:05:35] install darcs ? :D [12:06:30] or should I just go to the github and download it from there? what do you recommend? :) [12:07:23] you can do that [12:07:24] yes [12:34:52] *** Quits: jutta (53b9f6d2@gateway/web/freenode/ip.83.185.246.210) (Ping timeout: 250 seconds) [12:46:50] *** Joins: jutta (53b9f6d2@gateway/web/freenode/ip.83.185.246.210) [12:49:05] Where should I put the GF-master directory once I have downloaded it from github? [12:49:43] somewhere in your home directory? [12:57:25] and then how do I make sure that when I run gf, it runs that version of gf? When I run gf there is now way I can see that it's running the newly downloaded version. I work on a Mac [12:57:35] *no way [12:59:28] you can change your PATH in the terminal [12:59:34] or you can give the full path to GF [12:59:39] or you can uninstall the old GF [13:03:39] OK, I'll see if I can figure it out, I'm not sure of how to do the PATH stuff. I'll return here later in the weekend I'm sure.. Thanks for all your help spectei. [13:06:37] no problem!
